Adventures. I don’t go on many adventures; but the word evokes something that is exciting, something that is new and something that is unknown.
Thanks to my youngest son, who is a very creative, helpful soul, he has encouraged me to go on this adventure of starting a blog!
This conversation began by him asking me what all have I written in all my notebooks and I responded with different things…a little bit of this and that.
Then I asked him why he asked me that question. He quickly replied “so that I could start a blog. Your writing won’t help the people it can help if its trapped in your paper notebooks.”
Me? Write a blog? While I have done quite a bit of writing in the past, part of me was excited about the possibility, but another part of me was coming up with excuses why I couldn’t write one and reasons why I didn’t think it would be received.
With his persuasive, logical reasoning ability, he came back with: “Not doing anything is a surefire way to make sure the people who might like it CAN’T like it.”
Well, I couldn’t argue with that, plus he offered to help me with it!
So now, I’m embarking on an exciting, new, unknown adventure and I’m sure it will be a fun one!! I hope you will join me!
